T-Mobile's 4G / LTE-based mobile internet service has also arrived in Kecskemét and Szombathely
As a result of Telekom's intensive network development, by mid-July 2012, the new generation mobile internet, 4G / LTE, became available in most of Kecskemét and Szombathely.
The most important tangible benefits for users of 4G / LTE technology are much higher download and upload speeds and reduced latency, making it even easier to use online applications and games over the mobile network to download high-definition, even HD-quality videos. - and uploads significantly faster, and multiple programs can run smoothly at once, all of which dramatically improve the customer experience.
The network is currently available:
- In Kecskemét, 98% of the population is outdoors and 76% indoors,
- In Szombathely it is 98% of the population outdoors and 69% indoors.
T-Mobile - the first in Hungary - launched its 1G / LTE-based mobile internet service in Budapest on January 4 this year. During the summer, the service provider will take the 4G / LTE-based mobile internet service to the agglomeration of Budapest and several rural cities, and the coverage of Budapest will also continue. Currently, 98G / LTE service is available to 73% of Budapest's population outdoors and 4% indoors.
