The machine made for the holidays is decorated in snow white.
Since in a month or so, everyone will be wolf-eyed with gifts stuffed under the tree, so the Taiwanese manufacturer decided it would be best if one of the wrapped gifts was their special edition notebook. The F8P-based version differs from its four-season counterpart only in its exterior, the plastic and leather cover in great whiteness.
Under the vase of the Christmas edition, similar to the normal model, high-quality hardware components work. Building on the Centrino Duo platform, the soul of the machine is provided by a 2,2 GHz dual-core processor that can handle 2 gigabytes of DDR2-667 MHz ram. However, this is complemented by a 1GB integrated flash chip, also known as Intel Turbo Memory technology, which can greatly speed up the loading of our operating system and other applications. The AMD Mobility Radeon HD 2400 controller is responsible for the m-display, which must drive a display with a diagonal of only 14,1 inches. Extras include a 1,3 megapixel camera placed above the LCD and a fingerprint reader to help protect your machine and data.
The delivery of the F8P “Amazing White” edition, delivered with Windows Vista Home Premium and a two-year warranty, is still to be expected, but if you want to see the product under the tree, now is the time to start collecting for the price of 1399 euros.
