Intel has come up with eco-friendly Xeons
In the production of the Xeon processors shown below, Intel omits halogen, making their production less harmful to the environment.
The L5430, X5470, X5492 and X5270 Intel Xeon processors include ASUS, Dell, Fujitsu, Fujitsu-Siemens, Gigabyte, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microstar, NEC, Quanta, Rackable Systems, Sun Microsystems, Supermicro, Tyan and Verari Systems. The 5400s can be ordered now, but the X5270 will have to wait a few more weeks.
