Eco-friendly mobile phone
NTT DoCoMo has unveiled its latest eco-friendly phone.
The phone, called FOMA N701iECO, uses mainly more easily degradable Kenaf fibers instead of the usual ABS resin, greatly increasing its environmental friendliness. Other main features of the device:
- 2,3-inch, 240 × 345, 16-bit (65000 colors) internal TFT display, 0,9-inch, 120 × 30 monochrome STN external display
- miniSD card slot
- 1,2 MPixel digital camera
- 0,1 MPixel internal camera
- Dimensions: 102 × 48 × 23 mm and a weight of 115 grams
- 430 ill. 350 hours of standby time, 130 minutes of talk time, 80 minutes of video telephony
- Pink resp. Silver colors
The phone is currently only available in Japan and is unlikely to appear elsewhere.
