As NVIDIA's mid- and low-end cards approach, so will the information about them.

After last week’s GeForce 8600 information, there was also some data about the little brother.

According to VR-Zone information, the core of the reference GeForce 8500 GT card will operate at 450 MHz and its DDR2 memory will operate at 400 MHz. The card, expected for April 17, will be a hint of the current 7600 GS, according to VR-Zone, but of course already blessed with DirectX 10 capabilities. This will be felt most in the performance of the card.

Finally, the price. Cards based on the GeForce 8500 GT chip will be priced between $ 79 and $ 99, which is a pretty good price range, as the current 7600 GS series is pretty much in that price range, but we don't find DirectX 10 support.
