A faster GeForce GTX 650 Ti is being born

Once again, we can communicate good news to fans of affordable graphics cards. The soon-to-be-launched AMD Radeon HD 7790 won’t be left without a playmate, as the Greens are working hard on an updated version of the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. In practice, this could mean that engineers thoroughly raise the reference clocks, which is now 925 MHz for the GPU and 5 GHz for the on-board memory of the GDDR5,4 standard. We don’t see a chance for the novelty to get more processing units from the 768 CUDA core, nor is it likely that the 128-bit memory bus will change.

The tuned GeForce GTX 650 Ti may be on the market by the end of the month.
