External Blu-Ray writer from Buffalo

The device already has a USB 3.0 interface.

Buffalo Technology has launched a new external Blu-Ray writer with the product code BR3D-12U3-EU. It can write Blu-Ray discs at 12x speed, which means it can fill a double-layer disc (50GB) with data in 16 minutes. However, if the USB version is only 2.0, the pace will be halved. It is capable of 2x speed when writing rewritable “blue” discs. Read speed is 8x, but 16x for DVD. In the box of the 1,2 kg product, in addition to the power supply, the customer will receive a software package called “Media Suite” from Cyberlink. In this package is a writing software called “InstantBurn”, a data backup software called “PowerBackup” and a player called “TrueTheater 3D” that can conjure a 3D cinema out of our movies.
