Special HTPC housing from GlacialTech

GlacialTech unveiled a fully passively cooled computer case developed for HTPCs at CeBIT.

The 423 × 320 × 83 mm aluminum housing is equipped with its own cooling system, which means that the heat generated by the mobile processors is dissipated by a completely noise-free four-tube cooling unit. This, in numbers, means that even a CPU with a TDP of 60-70 W has no problem cooling it.

The computer case, which accommodates ATX-standard motherboards, holds two 3,5-inch hard drives and a thin optical drive. As you would expect from a well-designed HTPC housing, the USB ports and speaker and microphone connection points are located on the front panel.

Although the price of the house is not known yet, based on the favorable price range of other GlacialTech products, we can safely state that this time we can expect a wallet-saving amount. A cheaper version without heat pipes is also expected in the future.
