Improving sales figures at Intel

Intel's forecast shows a slow recovery in the IT market.

Intel has announced it will increase its third-quarter revenue expectations by $ 500 million. That’s numerically $ 9 billion (plus or minus $ 200 million). Preliminary estimates projected revenue of $ 8,5 billion (plus or minus $ 400 million).

Revenue projected for the third quarter shows a slight increase over the second quarter, when revenue was expected to be $ 8 billion, but increased expectations still fall short of last year’s revenue of $ 10,2 billion.
