Intel is preparing another price cut
Fortunately, the duel between Intel and AMD is reflected not only in the quality of the processors launched in the market, but also in price competition.
Intel is responding to the arrival of next-generation AMD processors with a July 22 price cut. Like that known, quad-core Phenom FX and Phenom X4 CPUs will begin sales in the third quarter, while dual-core Phenom X2 CPUs will begin sales in the fourth quarter. As a result, Intel has decided to reduce the price of two Core 2 Quad and six Core 2 Duo processors as a first step.
