Another Radeonized GeForce GTX 260 combined with Arkham Asylum
MSI can still step up.
Well-used by NVIDIA-affiliated Batman: Arkham Asylum has sparked publicity and interest, MSI immediately unveiled two new GeForce GTX 260 cards with a coupon in their box to officially download Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum game. The Dark Knight GTXs meet 216 shading units and 448-bit memory buses to meet specifications, have 896 MB of GDDR3, DirectX 10 compatible onboard memory and support 3-way SLI, PhysX, and CUDA, two they are equipped with card slot cooling and two DVI outputs. These features may seem completely boring except for the game, but let’s just take a look at the pictures below. The two new GeForce GTX 260 as if they weren’t even GeForce, much more a factory Radeon HD 4870 if we look at the red PCB and the cooling applied. We cannot answer the question of why this is good, we are waiting for ingenious ideas and possible explanations in the news posts.
The products will be available in limited quantities in Europe, Japan, Taiwan and Australia. The clock speeds of the N260GTX-T2D896 and N260GTX-T2D896-OC (Batman: Arkham Asylum Edition Harley Quinn) are the same as the factory values (576/1998 MHz), while the latter can be increased to 620/2100 MHz. Sparrows have not yet chirped about expected purchase prices.
