IRiver has introduced another portable player

The E30 model first appeared on the manufacturer’s Chinese website.

The device with a classic design is positioned at the entry level by iRiver, accordingly it has a small display and limited functionality. The latter can be seen when handling moving image materials, as the E30 is only compatible with the SMV (M-JPEG) format. All of this can be forgiven if you consider that the display is not suitable for watching movies anyway: the resolution of the 1,8-inch panel is only 176 × 220 pixels. Fortunately, when it comes to handling audio files, the new feature is already in place, since in addition to MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC, it also handles the APE format. The quality of the spoken sound is guaranteed by the "SRS WOW HD" technology and the equalizer that can be adjusted individually by the user.

The date and expected purchase price of the novelty, which promises a 52-hour continuous playback time, is not yet known.
