Game-centric computer from Packard Bell

Acer-owned Packard Bell came up with a sharpened computer configuration for the game.

An Intel Core 2.0 Duo or Intel Core 2 Extreme processor and an NVIDIA GeForce 2 GX9800 or ATI Radeon HD 2 graphics controller hide in the "belly" of the Packard Bell iPower x4870. Additional cooling of the hardware is provided by three 120 mm fans, but it can also be ordered with Asetek water cooling as an optional extra. The configuration includes a Blu-ray writer, a 21-in-1 memory card reader, a hybrid TV tuner and an eight-channel sound-generating device, and the housing has 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 eSATA port, and audio connection points.

The starting price of the iPower x2.0 is € 999, which maximalists can train up to € 1799: in this case, a monitor and Logitech input devices - a G15 keyboard and a G9 mouse - are also part of the package. The European distribution of Packard Bell's game-centric machine begins during the pre-Christmas shopping fever.
