At just 20,8 mm thick and weighing 1,57 kg, the housing of the Satellite U840W is made of brushed aluminum. The brown rubber armrest makes typing particularly comfortable. The backlight of the harmonizing color keyboard also allows it to be used in adverse lighting conditions. The Satellite U840W is the world's first notebook to feature a 36,6 cm (14,4 ″) Trubrite® display with a 21: 9 aspect ratio. In addition, the built-in, high-quality harman kardon® stereo speakers and SRS Premium Sound 3D ™ ensure the perfect cinema experience. The Satellite U840W delivers a great multimedia experience with a unique design.
