The new version with Windows Mobile 6.1 does not offer anything special, but it brings the expected level in all respects. The raw power this time is provided by a Qualcomm central unit, which thanks to its 528 MHz clock signal can easily cope with most tasks. From a multimedia point of view, we have no reason to complain either, as the 3,5-inch, 400 × 240-pixel, touch-sensitive display also proves suitable for occasional cinema. The situation is similar for a camera equipped with a 3-megapixel autofocus system, which, even if it is not the peak available, can do good service when needed. The possibilities of network connectivity can be said to be complete, as in addition to the usual WLAN and Bluetooth in the category, the novelty endowed with quad-band network support has also been equipped with HSDPA compatibility.

In accordance with the manufacturer's good habit, the exact time of launch of the Explora K70 with GPS receiver is still unknown, as the expected purchase price of the product is obscured.
