Is the eight-core Mac Pro coming?

For a few hours, you could find some very interesting information about the Mac Pro in the Apple UK web store.

As is well known, regardless of the Mac Trial configuration unveiled earlier this summer, there will be two Woodcrest codenamed, each dual-core Intel Xeon 5100 server processors with 4 MB of L2 cache and three performance levels, clocked at 2,66, 3, and XNUMX GHz.

Barely a month after the premiere, an enthusiastic team installed two quad-core Clowertown processors in the Mac Trial, and they were up and running right away without any tricks or BIOS updates. By this time, one could have guessed that Apple had not accidentally left this loophole open, thinking that a top model with quad-core CPUs would also appear in the range at a later date.

Unfortunately, it is not yet known when the first eight-core Mac Pro computers will be available, Apple's UK web store will no longer contain telltale signs, and Apple has not yet commented on the news.
