Communicator from Sharp to Willcom

Japanese mobile maker Willcom unveiled its W-ZERO3 communicator earlier this week.

Developed by Sharp, the device uses Windows Mobile 5.0 and is powered by an Intel PXA270 mobile processor. The communicator's QWERTY keyboard can be slid out sideways, completely unnoticed when hidden.

The phone’s 416 MHz CPU has a 2,8-inch LCD display with VGA resolution (640 × 480) but can only display 65 colors. Its camera is 536 megapixels, which can take pictures up to 1,3 × 1280 pixels.

Its internal memory is 64 MB, which can be further expanded with a miniSD card. There is also a USB interface on the side of the 175 gram device, so we can easily connect our portable devices and data storage devices.

W-ZERO3 includes the following pre-installed software: Windows Mobile 5.0, Microsoft Office Mobile (Word / Excel / PowerPoint), MS Outlook, Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, Picsel PDF Viewer, Java platform, Internet Explorer Mobile and Opera Mobile.
