New, smaller LIFEBOOK T580 - entering the world of Fujitsu tablets

The mobility of the touchscreen LIFEBOOK tablet, which replaces the whiteboard, is coupled with the convenience of a keyboard.

Fujitsu has introduced its new, smaller, full-featured tablet, the 10,1 ”LIFEBOOK T580. Leveraging the company's two decades of experience in the convertible PC segment, the LIFEBOOK T580 condenses the features and technology of full-size notebooks into a smaller, lighter and cheaper package.
The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK T580 offers a flexible alternative to mobile work based on a digital tablet (slate) and makes daily work easier with practical convenience features - e.g. keyboard, two USB ports, SD card and SmartCard reader, webcam, output for VGA monitor and high definition HDMI display.
Weighing just 1,4 kg, the LIFEBOOK T580 can be converted from a notebook to a tablet by simply flipping the bi-directional display. The full-featured touch screen allows four-finger multi-point touch control, recognizes 14 different finger gestures, and supports double-tapping, touch-based scrolling, zooming and rotating. Its dual digitizer technology provides maximum accuracy and pressure sensitivity when working with the pen, and the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system recognizes handwriting and voice commands in 26 languages.
Like other Fujitsu LIFEBOOK tablets, the LIFEBOOK T580 is designed for mobile living. The display is clear and visible even in bright sunlight thanks to its high resolution, LED backlight and Ambient Light Sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the display to the ambient light conditions. The grease repellent coating ensures that no disturbing fingerprints remain on the surface.
