Can we expect new high-end VGAs from NVIDIA later this year?

New, unannounced NVIDIA graphics controllers have been introduced in the Austrian Austin Computers web store.

The emergence of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280+ is by no means as unexpected as that of the GeForce GTX 350, as the trade press has been rumored about the former for some time. In person, we can respect an old-new VGA, which differs from its "predecessor" only to the extent that the 9800 GTX+ differs from the 9800 GTX — a 55 nm GPU with an increased clock signal. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 350 promises to be a much more exciting video card than this, since the VGA in question is powered by a hitherto unknown GT55 graphics core made with 300 nm manufacturing technology, in the company of 2 GB of GDDR5 memory.
