Here is the first test of the GeForce GTX 660 Ti

TweakTown put an end to the "nervous" wait with one click.

Here is the first test of the GeForce GTX 660 Ti 1
Based on the results, it seems that the "mid-range killer" of the greens seriously threatens the position of the Radeon HD 7950, and sometimes even the HD 7970. Based on the information shown by GPU-Z, this is not so surprising, since the GeForce GTX 660 Ti is an exact copy of its big brother, the GTX 670, except for the memory system. In terms of the latter, it is worth noting that the newcomer received 24 ROP units and a 192-bit memory bus, but thanks to the effective 6,0 GHz GDDR5 memory, the bandwidth is not yet critically low.

If the GPU-Z isn't wrong, this is the GK104 graphics processor. [+]
The performance is mainly in the 1680 × 1050 and 1920 × 1200 resolutions, which are really breakthrough - they are starting to decline above that - but no more can be expected from a solution aimed at a mid-range category. It’s an envelope that the Rookie of the Greens is stirring up the balance of power - maybe even generating some price cuts - so we’re stutteringly waiting for the card to come out.
