Here is the first GeForce 500M series graphics card

The first notebook with the GeForce GT 540M comes from Acer.

The new GT 540M chip also uses 96 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory interface like the GT 435M, but the clocks are already changing differently. The GPU runs at 672 MHz, the shaders at 1344 MHz and the memory at 900MHz. Consumption did not change compared to the previous ones and support for DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX, 3D Vision, Optimus also remained. The easiest way to get such a GPU is with the Acer 4741G, but we will have to wait until next month for a major deployment.

The said notebook also features a 2,66 GHz Intel Core i5-480M processor, 4 GB RAM, 640GB HDD, Blu-ray optical drive and a 14 kijelző display.
