Despite the speed increase, the classification in the TDP class has not changed, so the rookie is also in the 125 Watt class. Six-core with 45nm manufacturing technology is characterized by E0 stepping, and Turbo Core technology can boost its clock speed to 3,7GHz. The second-level cache is 6 × 512 KB, the shared third-level cache is 6 MB, and the core voltage is 1,3 volts. The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T will hit store shelves with a $ 265 price tag, and its predecessor, the Phenom II X6 1090T, has dropped to $ 230.
The second candidate today is the dual-core Phenom II X2 565, where the factory clock is shot at 3,4 GHz and since it is a Phenom II product, the 7 MB (2 × 512 KB L2; 6 MB L3) cache is of course can be found in it. AMD is sending this product to fight the Intel Core i3 540 and 550. The TDP rating is the same as its predecessor, ie 80 Watts, and it is also a Black Edition, ie a multiplier-free edition. The manufacturer is asking for a $ 10 surcharge for the increased speed, which is $ 115.
The third rookie has no six, he already has three cores, but he doesn’t have a third-level cache, so it’s part of the Athlon II X3 series. The fresh 455 model is clocked at 3,3 GHz and, in addition to everything else, is exactly the same as its predecessor, the Athlon II X3 450, even in price, which means it can be taken for $ 87 and its opponent is the Intel Pentium G6950.
