Here is the first 1TB SSD

OCZ delivers the world's first 1TB SSD. Of course, the Colossus LT series also has smaller members.

In recent years, SSDs have plunged from luxury to the category of affordable PC parts. Goods are largely determined by their storage capacity, so many people act by placing their operating system and frequently used programs on an SSD, while other data is placed on the HDD. This is because, for example, a 128 GB SSD typically costs us 65 to 75 forints, while it would cost 000 to 4 terabytes of hard drive.

Here is the first 1TB SSD

OCZ’s new Colossus LT series is 3,5 ”in size. Utilizing this physical size, 1 TB of capacity is available, but you can also choose 128 GB, 256 GB, and 500 GB copies. For SSDs based on MLC NAND chips, the average error-free operation time (MTBF) is 1 million hours. The manufacturer guarantees the products for three years. The large capacity has an even higher price: they ask for $ 4000 (~ 775 forints).
