IPS monitors from NEC

This time, the manufacturer left the TN panel in several price categories.

NEC has recently introduced two new monitors with IPS panels that compete for customer favors in two different price categories. The first and cheaper model is called the MultiSync EA232WMi. Here, the panel resulted in excellent viewing angles, while the LED backlight resulted in lower power consumption. The average power consumption decreased from 43 to 31 watts, while at maximum brightness this value changed from 61 to 53. Monitor native resolution Full HD, viewing angles 178 degrees in all directions, brightness 250 cd / m2, has an aspect ratio of 23 inches and a contrast ratio of 1.000: 1. The response time is given as 14 ms, but this value is probably given for the black-and-white-to-black change, as the reaction time is always slower here than for the change from gray to gray, where it can be about 6-8 ms.
