ASUS underwent an upgrade to its notebook series called the N53, where it began shipping two new models. Among the new features with a 15,6-inch display, the N53SV-SX387V features a 2,3GHz ticking Core i5-2410M processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD (5.400 RPM), and a GeForce GT 540M and accompanied by a 4x tempo Blu-ray combo drive. The N53SN-SZ127V is already a more muscular specimen, as evidenced by the Core i7-2630QM (2,0 GHz) CPU, 6GB of RAM, and the GeForce GT 550M video card. The optical drive as well as the HDD are unchanged, but the hard drive disks rotate at 5.400 per minute instead of 7.200.
