Intel Sandy Bridge: the names remain?

The CPU manufacturer does not want to replace the names Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7.

Az XbitLabs information Intel is working with steam power to bring the new processor series called Sandy Bridge to market as planned. The processor manufacturer plans to account for 2011-12% of sales in the first three months of 13 for the new generation. It follows that sales of the novelties are likely to begin later this year, quite precisely in Q4, where a 3% stake is expected. However, the names of the new processors based on the Sandy Bridge architecture will remain the same as the terms Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7.

XbitLabs has not provided any further information, but they also believe it is likely that they will use the Core i8 name for future 9-core processors.
