Intel Arrandale with automatic VGA tuning

Maybe everyone already knows that VGA controllers integrated into Intel processors will come early next year. Information is leaking about this.

According to news published in Fudzilla, the VGA controller included in the case with the CPU will include a solution similar to Turbo Boost technology. The base clock of the graphics core will be only 166 MHz, which is, to put it mildly, low, we could encounter such clocks many years ago. According to the Fudzilla editor, this clock will be pretty much enough for Windows Aero to run on it. However, according to the news, thanks to the new technology, the clock signal will change automatically in case of higher computing demand and will be able to increase up to 500 MHz.

Nor can 500 MHz be said to be surprisingly high, especially since we know the performance of Intel controllers. At the same time, this clock may already be enough to run simpler 3D games or, according to Fuji, to play Blu-ray material smoothly. At the same time, we think that the technology in this news is not really about the increase in performance, but rather the CPU consumption and heat output that can be significantly reduced by moving the GPU clock in this rather low range.
