Intel: Sasto will debut in the second quarter of 2008

Eaglelake tiles will replace members of the currently running Bearlake series.

The G45 comes with a DirectX 10 integrated graphics processor, HDMI output and DisplayPort, PCI Express 2.0, and DDR2-800 MHz and DDR3-1333 MHz support. The P10, paired with the ICH45 South Bridge, can also demonstrate knowledge of CrossFire technology and handling CPUs with a 1600 MHz FSB.

The first motherboards built around the P45 and G45 are expected to be available in the second quarter of 2008. In any case, keep in mind that there will be another premiere early next year, as the successor to the X38, the X48, will debut sometime in the first quarter.
