IT utility - an insight into the future of IT

IT utility - an insight into the future of ITFujitsu Kft. Helps the spread of the latest IT solutions in Hungary with a unique financing scheme

The development of IT can radically transform IT-related work within three to five years. Through cloud-based systems, utility-type IT is emerging, enabling more flexible and cost-effective work than ever before. For a dynamic virtual workspace in the foreseeable future, a personal cloud will provide the tools and applications without being tied to a location. The role of IT managers will also change: instead of developing and controlling devices and their own infrastructure, their focus will be on managing IT services - this is how the future of IT was presented in a presentation by Gernot Fels, an expert in innovative infrastructures at Fujitsu Technology Solutions.
Gábor Poros, Managing Director of the Hungarian subsidiary, announced at a press conference that Fujitsu Kft. Will promote the domestic introduction of the revolutionary new technologies of the world's fourth largest computer manufacturing and development company and the creation of the Hungarian information society with a new financing scheme.

The essence of the construction, which has been developed for Hungarian small and medium-sized companies but can be used by large companies and institutions and will come into force on December XNUMX, is that the company can test Fujitsu devices on demand, or with a solution covering the entire corporate infrastructure. you can rent it for a minimum of one and a maximum of six months. Fujitsu Kft. Can ensure the installation of the devices and ensure their smooth operation directly or through its qualified, so-called Select Partners. At the end of the term, the company may decide to purchase or lease the equipment for a period of three years at a reduced price in proportion to the time of use. If the assets handed over for testing were only needed by the company for the duration of the term, or the assets did not fully meet the preliminary expectations, it would simply be returned to Fujitsu after the short-term lease period. The trial design allows users not to have to commit to a more time-consuming investment for an extended period of time. The option now applies to a single workstation, or even all of the company's IT infrastructure.

Gábor Poros emphasized that with the announced financing scheme, Fujitsu wants Hungarian users to be bolder in trying new technologies that reduce and make the company's IT investment costs more cost-effective, reduce operating expenses by 25-40 percent, but in relation to which technologies they have no experience yet. As he said, in Western Europe more than 70 percent of companies use IT infrastructure and tools in financing schemes, while in Hungary this proportion does not reach 30%. In the current capital shortage of the Hungarian economy, the uniquely flexible Fujitsu financing offers an opportunity for Hungarian SMEs to maintain and develop their IT infrastructure. All this also promotes the acceptance of the use of informatics as a public utility.
