Here is the tale of the ugly duckling in Chinese style

Once upon a time, where he was not, a company was born in China that was famous for its weak phones in addition to its strange name.

Somehow that’s how the story of AllCall could begin. For a long time, I didn’t dare put their cell phones in any phone recommendation, but then at the end of last year, the ice broke and a quite usable devices have been launched on the market. I was very surprised by it and quickly picked it up among the recommended phones because, at least on paper, it was strong enough and on the outside it was pretty nice.

And now we have reached another milestone, where the ugly duckling has become a beautiful swan. AllCall has officialized the specification for their phone called MIX 2. We can only discover the only ugliness of the new mobile, its name, because we still don’t understand why if someone can put together such a device, then why can’t guess a unique, well-sounding name of their own.

Let’s get over the problem and see what we dare say it’s strong enough these days! The new phone is based on the MediaTek P23 central chip. This is not a completely new development either, more precisely, it was announced months ago, but we have only recently come across the first phones based on this chip. If you are curious or what we have written about it, read it, if you are a little interested in the technological innovations you will find it interesting, and of course you will at least be in the picture if you see the name P23 in the specification of a mobile: Learn the Future Mid-Range Phone Processors!

Let's see the point briefly! The P23 is a lower-middle-grade chip from MediaTek's new series. With this solution, the manufacturer didn’t travel to spin the speed to the skies, the right performance in the eight-core procis was already included. True, as we can now see with this chip, the manufacturers are not trying to replace the immediate predecessor P20, but the good old MTK6750T, which, let’s face it, time has passed. The strength of the P23 is therefore not the clock raised to the skies, but the support for optimized multimedia capabilities such as higher resolution cameras. At MediaTek, they realized the truth that there are far more people who watch movies, take photos, and surf the net with their phones than those who play games that require brutal performance. Well, the P23 is made for the former, and knowing its features will be successful.

We’ve deviated a bit from AllCall MIX 2, so let’s turn the steering wheel and get back on it! From the outside, the phone mimics the Xiaomi MIX 2, which is especially good for him, as the Xiaomi phone is a pretty nice thing. Fortunately, we were able to write a test on this as well, you can read here: Shocking, beautiful, affordable, such an almost perfect phone.

So AllCall engineers decided to draw a good deep from Xiaomi’s cleverness, but pack a little weaker iron inside. It will probably be seen in the price, so it is a pleasure for everyone to buy a phone of the right strength and beauty. Literally, we can't go without a word, because in this AllCall is ahead of Xiaomit. It has built-in wireless charging in its phone, which is currently only available on much more expensive devices.

So in summary, the new AllCall phone has come as a real surprise, now we’re only curious about one thing, the price.
