At Redmin, they decided it was time to upgrade, which is surprising since Redmi Note 8 / Pro wasn’t on the market as long ago. True, as before, the new phones are not coming in a global version. The lucky country where it will be available soonest is already India again. Of course, the thing is understandable, Xiaomi is India's market leader and the country is the world's second largest market at present.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro was given to a Vietnamese Youtuber, he had the opportunity to try and disassemble the phone, so in the video below, we can see, without a doubt, the new Note 9 Pro mobile. Preliminary expectations turned out to be true, the shape of the camera unit changed on the back, the fingerprint reader was moved to the side of the phone.

The phone will have glass not only on the front but also on the back, of course not as transparent as on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Explorer Edition. From the pictures, we can see that the drop-shaped camera island on the front glass has also disappeared, although the location of the camera has not changed. However, there will now be only one hole through which the optics can peek out.

The specifications of the rear-facing cameras are evolving interestingly. It looks like the main sensor will be 20 megapixels, next to which will be an 8-megapixel wide-angle, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. As everyone knows, the main camera of the Redmi Note 8 Pro was 64 megapixels, so this setback is a bit incomprehensible. Of course, a year ago we also doubted that the MediaTek central chip chosen for the Note 8 Pro would be suitable for this, and then it turned out that it was a very, real surprise for its performance.

More technical details and exact prices (Indian prices) will arrive tomorrow!
