IO DATA BRD-AM2B / U: Blu-ray writer

Famous primarily for its memory cards, IO DATA has also created its own Blu-ray writer for desktop computers.

Of course, the IO DATA optical drive is not an in-house development, it is based on Panasonic's SW-5582 unit, the difference is mainly in the included software and the brand name written on the product. Accordingly, the technical characteristics of the two structures are practically identical, which also means that the write speeds are the same: 8 × DVD +/- R, 4 × DVD + R / -R DL, 6 × DVD + RW, 6 × DVD- RAM and 24/16 × CD-R / RW. It roasts Blu-ray discs twice, while it scans DVDs eight times and CDs 32 ×.

Twice the Blu-ray write speed means you can burn data to a single-layer 25GB media in about 70 minutes. The IO DATA drive will be available from June, according to the manufacturer's website, and we will receive a TDK-branded BD-RE disc as well as Ulead's roasting software and the interVideo DVD player program.
