The Samsung Galaxy S will officially receive Android 2.2.1

The 2.2.1 system can certainly arrive on the Galaxy S in a matter of weeks.

I think it’s safe to say that the Galaxy S is one of Samsung’s most successful models right now, nothing proving this more than the fact that by December, 9.3 million handsets had found owners.

Although in Hungary even Android 2.2 is not officially available to all owners, in the meantime, devices purchased in Sweden can be officially upgraded to version 2.2.1 through Samsung's KIES program. It is promised that the novelty will fix some bugs and improve the overall performance of the device. The update will certainly be available in several countries within a few weeks, the only question is when it will arrive in Hungary, as Froyo also arrived late.
