With regard to the new minute-based tax, it’s important to know that you won’t have to pay after the first 10 minutes of talk every month. The tax can be a maximum of HUF 700 per month for individuals and HUF 2500 per month for companies. According to the press conference, the tax will not have to be paid by the subscribers, but by the service providers. It is not yet known to what extent service providers will pass this on to subscribers, and further provision of free calls between subscribers is still in question for the time being.
