Near the end for the Shuttle

Will the bazaar at Shuttle close?

It seems the company that makes mini PCs will soon be forced to pull off the t-shirt. The reason is still unknown, although some sources say Shuttle is being forced to take drastic action due to competition from increasingly cheaper products. Well the brand doesn’t seem to go away, so far there are two applicants to merge the company. ECS has already had a good relationship with Shuttle, but sources there say they have no plans to buy the company as they simply don’t need a manufacturer to assemble new PCs.

The other candidate would be Acer, who, in turn, would benefit greatly from the merger of Shuttle, so that new markets could open up for the company. Some analysts are almost certain of the Acer-Shuttle deal, while the company denies speculation.
