Huge IPS from Mitsubishi
Here’s the proof here that IPS technology can’t just be a winner on monitors. Mitsubishi is already pushing 42 inches!
Actually, this is "just" a monitor, but because of the diagonal image, it could even be a more serious TV. The LDT423H is a member of the VISEO Lite series. It was not designed for gaming, as can be seen from the 12 ms response time. On the other hand, watching movies can be excellent, as it has all the features that a healthy IPS display should have. Full HD resolution, 1300:1 contrast, 700 cd per square meter brightness, and of course the indispensable 178/178 degree viewing angle, which is believable as it is IPS.
The display has two 10-watt speakers, and video and / or audio can be input via DVI-D, HDMI or DisplayPort connectors. The release is expected in October, the price is not yet available.
