Sharp introduces its first 3D LCD TV panel

Sharp introduces its first 3D LCD TV panelAfter the advent of flat screens and later HDTV, the next trend in the television market is 3D television.

The Japanese electronics group, Sharp, is regularly setting a new direction in the LCD TV segment and is now announcing the launch of the world’s first 3D-capable LCD TV with Quattron technology. The essence of the new system, the fourth pixel color - yellow - makes a decisive contribution to providing the most outstanding 3D image ever achieved on Sharp flat screen TVs. Minimize annoying double-outline ghosting thanks to a combination of innovative LCD TVs such as UV2A, Quattron, FRED and Super Edge LED backlighting. Sharp uses shutter technology to display 3D images. Viewers should therefore wear special active goggles when watching XNUMXD content.
