The Intel 530 SSD series will be available soon
According to data leaked by VR-Zone, the drives are based on 20nm MLC NAND flash chips.
The Intel 530 SSD series will be available to users in three types: 2,5-inch, mSATA and NGFF.M2. The 2,5-inch variant will come in 180, 240, 360 and 480 GB capacities, the other two formats will not have the largest data storage available, but will have an 80 GB type.
In all likelihood, the SandForce SF-2281 controller again struggles with a plethora of bytes, so the speed can only improve slightly compared to the previous generation.
The image above (zoomable) also shows that according to the paper format, the products should have already appeared. Hopefully the new series will really be officially launched in July.
