An update to Android 2.3.3 for Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab is coming soon

Samsung has announced that an update to Android 2.3.3 for the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab, respectively, will arrive soon.

The Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update for Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy Ace, Gio, Fit, Mini and Galaxy Tab is expected to arrive in Hungary in about two months.

The new system will further improve the performance and speed of smartphones. In the easy-to-use Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab with 1 GHz processor, after the Android 2.2 Froyo platform, 2.3 Gingerbread will bring the following innovations:

• More power - Displaying multimedia content uses less CPU, which may reduce the power consumption of your device. Powerful 3D graphics guarantee an even better mobile gaming experience.
• Improved user experience - Improved interface makes it even easier to control the device and selects and copies texts.

The Android 2.3.3 update is expected to be available in Hungary in July 2011 through Kies, Samsung's own application. Kies can be downloaded from the Samsung website: http://www.samsung.com/
