Quiet power supplies from the German NesteQ workshop
The company’s ASM Xzero power supply family has four members.
The 400, 500, 600 and 700 W ASM Xzero power supplies comply with ATX12V v2.2, BTX v1.0a and EPS12V v2.91, their efficiency can reach 89%, they all have an active PFC circuit, overcurrent , with surge and short-circuit protection, which makes them really special is the so-called Advanced Silent Mode, which in practice means that until the temperature inside the PSU reaches or exceeds 65 degrees Celsius, the sliding bearing, 120 mm fan remains inactive.
However, this is not the only unusual solution on NesdeQ power supplies, as the row of LEDs on the back informs the user of the device about the integrity of each branch - + 12V, + 5V, + 3,3V and + 5Vsb. light goes out; such a test does not even require the power supply to be connected to the motherboard.
With the Enhanced Easy Connecting System, the length of each cable in the ASM Xzero power supplies - SATA power cable, 4-pin Molex, fan cable - can be varied. The distribution of the products has already started: an Austrian webshop is asking for 400 euros for the 109 W model, 500 euros for the 119 W version, and 600 euros for the 139,90 W ASM Xzero.
