If you have a Philips monitor, you may have been saved
At least if you choose one of the new corporate monitors. Maybe you’ve been thinking about sticking the camera on top of your monitor or your notebook with something. A person sometimes realizes the feeling that from somewhere, someone is watching his every move. Or is it just me like that?
Well, if so, it’s probably not without reason, at least that’s the opinion of FBI Director James Comey. He thinks it fits to protect our privacy by sticking the cameras.
However, there are now much more elegant solutions than adhesive tape, at least as far as computer monitors are concerned. The latest generation of Philips corporate monitors consists of 27-, 24- and 22-inch monitors where the webcam only stands out when needed. The webcam can be pressed and highlighted with just one finger. The benefit of this is clear: if we need a camera, for example during an online conference, it can be easily highlighted. In other cases, it disappears and hackers have no chance.
Like other Philips displays designed for professional users, these new displays have a number of other outstanding features to help increase productivity. Each size is compact enough to fit comfortably on any workbench. The ultra-thin edge of the screen provides maximum field of view, making the visual experience more complete when multiple screens are placed side by side. Thanks to the broadband sources supported by the screen, such as DisplayPort and HDMI, images can be displayed in excellent image quality and clarity. The monitors are called They also support the “Daisy Chaining” feature: this method allows multiple devices to be connected simply by connecting adjacent devices. This cabling method, that is, connecting multiple monitors with a DisplayPort cable, allows for a much more organized system configuration.
