Three Phenom price cuts AMD
AMD responded to Intel's July 20 price cut.
As is known, Intel on July 20 cut the price of quad-core Core 2 Quad Q6600 and dual-core Core 2 Duo processors E8500, E8400 and E7200 by 14, 31, 11 and 15%, respectively. AMD has reduced the price of Phenomes, which are direct rivals to these central units:
- AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition 2,6 GHz: $ 205 instead of 194
- AMD Phenom X4 9550 2,2 GHz: $ 175 instead of 154
- AMD Phenom X3 8450 2,1 GHz: $ 125 instead of 104
