Diamond and Platinum boards are subject to the latest Intel processors

The nForce 780i is released in two versions at MSI's factory.

After the Gigabyte and Asus products, we can now see a few pictures of MSI's tops, but the specific features are not yet known, so we can only find out based on what we have seen. The P4N series, which underpinned the success of the intelligent nForce, and the subsequent P6N series will not be surprisingly replaced by the P7N family, but in order not to drown the product announcement, a Platinum package has been completed in addition to the Diamond version.

If we look at the two printed circuits, there are some serious shortcomings in the Platinum board, which are mostly the number of SATA units and USB ports that can be connected to the board, and presumably Diamond's privilege remains the Creative X-Fi card packed next to the board. In the case of PCIe sockets, we can experience a slightly different approach, as Platinum is already able to provide the necessary minimum. The Diamond adds an extra slot to the triple tooth, meaning we can put graphics cards in a total of four slots. However, the speed at which these rails operate is a mystery for the time being, we can find out at the official premiere at the latest.
