The first Wolfdale processors arrived in Hungary

The second wave is provided by the dual-core Celeron.

Although the morning hours started so that we could report on the first Penryn central units to appear on the Japanese market, we were pleased to receive the news this morning that the first shipments had arrived in Hungary as well. The Wolfdale family seems to be represented by only two models so far, the E8500 has yet to wait a bit. The smallest E2,66 operating at 8200 GHz is the most selectable (approx. HUF 42000), and the E8400 (approx. HUF 47000) stocks are expected to recharge in a day or two.

We also have good news for users on a smaller budget. The lists feature the dual-core Celeron E1200 procs, which run at 1,6 GHz and have a shared cache of 512 KB. The price is one or two thousand forints below the E2140.
