GPS phone from Gigabyte

Gigabyte even unveiled its GPS-enabled phone, the oddly named g-YoYo, at CeBIT.

The tri-band - GSM 900/1800/1900 - phone has a 2-inch, 176 × 220 pixel TFT display capable of displaying 262 colors, and its 2,1 megapixel camera is also capable of capturing video movies. Its memory can be expanded with a miniSD card, you can set the ringtone to 64-part music or MP3.

The device is not 3G, so we can only browse WAP via GPRS. The factory 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery provides 300 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of talk time. The phone weighs 105 grams and measures 99,7 × 48,5 × 19,9 millimeters. The product is also equipped with an MP3 player and an electronic dictionary.

In addition to the usual GPS features, a very useful feature of the Gigabyte product is that it alerts you with a sound and vibration when it reaches a pre-selected destination. G-YoYo will be available for purchase at prices over HUF 70.
