Google+: Around 50 million users

Google, Facebook’s rival social site, Google Plus, has around 50 million users.

Considering that registration is only free for five days and you can only get in by invitation for 3 months, this is very serious data. There have been several attempts by Google to break into social media, but all the projects so far have failed. Paul Allen, in a post, reported that the number of users is likely to have reached 50 million or very close to it. This has not been officially confirmed by Google.

Allen, who runs Familylink.com, estimated the number of users based on the names of the users, his technique was to search for the most common last names in larger countries, including 43 million members based on the names of Japan, India, Germany and other countries, or slightly more, but since this is an estimate with a very large margin, so the number of real users could be much higher than that, he commented on 50 million data. It took Facebook 3,5 years to reach such a user base, the figure is almost the same, only the unit of time needs to be changed. 

Unfortunately, it also includes how long the situation is only half as good; for the news that user inactivity is very high is constantly coming, as well as the news outlining the fall. For the time being, the wait remains, and we hope Google thinks so too, and doesn’t want to pull down the blind on this service as it does quite often these days.
