GF 8600 GTS tuning and test results

VR-Zone staff were curious about the tuning capabilities of NVIDIA’s new mid-range product, the GeForce 8600 GTS.

The boys in the VR-Zone did not shred, the clocks were not only raised by software, but also by minor hardware intervention on the card. During the process, the factory cooling was maintained, but after making the modifications and revamping the voltage values, they managed to increase the operating frequency of the 675 MHz GPU and the 1 GHz VRAM to 1006 and 1265 MHz, respectively.
