Android 2.3 is also available for Galaxy S.

According to the latest news, Gingerbread will also be available for Samsung’s flagship.

As we reported, the latest version 2.3 of Android has arrived. First, of course, Google’s new feature, the Nexus S, will receive the new operating system, but guesswork has already begun on devices from several vendors to see if that model gets an update.

Android 2.3 is also available for Galaxy S.

Since the Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung, it is no surprise to anyone that, according to the latest news, the "brother" of the Nexus S, the Galaxy S, will also receive Gingerbread. Although Samsung first stated that they still need to test whether 2.3 is suitable for the Galaxy and then decide if it will be available. This testing is not completely understandable, because as we know, the Nexus S and the Galaxy are almost completely the same under the hood. In the meantime, a post appeared on Samsung's Indian Twitter page, according to which the Galaxy S will receive the latest system, so Gingerbread is now almost certain.
