Updated iMac product line
A few days after the release of Core 2 Duos, codenamed Merom, Apple also switched to Intel’s latest mobile processors for iMac computers.
Despite the more modern and faster processors, the California company has reduced the price of iMacs, so the 1,83 \\ ”\\” entry model with a 17 GHz CPU can be purchased for $ 999, or just over $ 200.
The product line of Apple computers integrated with the monitor has been expanded with a new member, namely the top-of-the-line 24-inch model. The huge display has a maximum image resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, so viewing HD DVD and Blu-ray videos in 1080p is no problem.
The $ 1999 base price includes the following components, among others: 2,16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 × 512 MB DDR2 memory, 250 GB SATA HDD, DVD burner and NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT video card 128 MB with lots of graphics memory.
