Fresh NVIDIA driver has arrived
The 270.61 driver promises significant acceleration in several games.
Az NVIDIA video card owners can rejoice as the first 270 series driver bearing version number 270.61 has become available. The new software supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 series products as well as ION systems. There have been several changes compared to the 266.58 drive, including full support for the GeForce GTX 590, GeForce GTX 560 Ti, and GeForce GTX 550 Ti, but in addition, players can post significant speed gains in multiple games. The percentage values provided by the manufacturer show the maximum acceleration rate (compared to the 266.58 drive), but it should be borne in mind that the acceleration rate depends strongly on the configuration.

In addition to the above, the new package automatically installs PhysX version 9.10.0514 as well as the HD-Audio version 1.2.22.1 driver. Also new is a feature called NVIDIA Update, a type of automatic update system that notifies the user when a new driver is available that a newer version of the driver is available for their product. For information on how to use this feature, contact the manufacturer specification located. A new driver package with WHQL certification can be downloaded from the NVIDIA website. Supported operating systems include 7-bit and 32-bit versions of WindowsXP, Windows Vista, and Windows 64. The latest driver can also be installed for mobile versions of supported GPUs.
